UHAA-NCRC worked closely with the UHAA in Honolulu and the UH Foundation in providing support for this game. UHAA-NCRC members and supporters charted a tour bus to West Point, remaining overnight in New Jersey prior to the game on Saturday. Over 50 people participated. UHAA-NCRC provided live entertainment at the Pre-Game Rally and, in return, UHAA provided financial assistance with the bus rental._The UH Boosters Club from Hawai`i were pleasantly surprised with the local support for the UH team and everyone had an enjoyable time, despite a close defeat to Army. In attendance was the Vice-Chancellor for Research and the UH Athletic Director. One of the members of the DC delegation presented a jersey that her father had worn when he was on the UH football team over 60 years ago.
